There is so much I want to learn and try (and buy) when it comes to photography. I started off 2010 at an amazing inspirational 3 day photography conference in Mystic with some of the worlds greatest photographers. I followed Mystic up with another awesome Ten Eyck Tuesday Workshop with the fantastic Carla Ten Eyck, this time the class was all about lighting, and man did we light it up!
Carla's friends Sarah & Zacharia were our models. It wasn't too hard to convey how much these two love each other, they are super cool all the way from Utah. Sarah & Zacharia braved the cold, dark windy night, and they never complained or stopped smiling, and then they put on show for us!
We started off with natural light...
and then we added a little off camera flash
then I got to experiment with a video light - so dramatic I love it!
and then Sarah put on a show for us and threw fire! Seriously she lit up the sky!
